Jonathan has devoted his 14-year career to upstream asset valuation and A&D advisory. At Detring, he has assisted the firm for over 7 years with technical analysis and execution leadership across many of the ~150 successful transactions during that time, resulting in a cumulative ~$5.5Bn of company-wide aggregate transaction value.
Prior to joining Detring, Jonathan was an Associate with Wells Fargo Securities’ A&D team, assisting in the successful marketing and closing of several notable transactions over $1Bn in value, including the Yates divestiture to EOG in 2016 and the ConocoPhillips San Juan divestiture to Hilcorp in 2017. During his time at Wells Fargo, he assisted directly with processes totaling over $8Bn in aggregate transaction value.
Jonathan began his career as an independent consultant, offering drop-in engineering and financial technical services for a wide range of clients – including small to mid-size E&P companies, third-party consulting firms, and various investment banks.
