Brandon Scott

Brandon Scott joined Detring Energy Advisors in July 2026 as a Vice President.
Prior to Detring, Brandon spent eight years in upstream A&D advisory at Redfield Energy Partners and UBS, where he served as lead engineer on buy-side and sell-side mandates exceeding $4.0 billion in aggregate value. At Redfield he closed more than eight mandates totaling approximately $500 million.

Earlier in his career, Brandon worked as a completions and drilling engineer at Marathon Oil in the Williston Basin and as lead operations and reservoir engineer at Peregrine Petroleum.

He holds an MBA in Finance from Tulane University and a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University.
