Nick Damon

Nick joined Detring Energy Advisors in September 2023 as a Geology Analyst.
Before starting at Detring Energy Advisors, Nick worked with Matador Resources, EOG Resources, Crestview Exploration, and various smaller geologic service companies. His work included unconventional-focused operations, exploration, and field experience in the Delaware, Denver-Julesburg, Powder River, and Utica basins, as well as mineral exploration in the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains.
Nick holds a B.S. Geology (2015) from Texas A&M and an M.S. Geology (2022) from Colorado School of Mines.
